Any statement below may be subject to change with discussion between you, the commissioner, and me, the artist.I. GENERAL TERMS
Please keep all contact civilised.
Provide neat and thorough references. The more detail given, the quicker I can get a piece done without confusion or disappointment.
Any ill-mannered or uncivilised behaviour during contact will not be tolerated, and I have the right to cancel or deny a commission in light of this.II. PAYMENT
All commissions must be paid with an upfront deposit of 30% of the commission’s base price and the remaining payment are to be made before receiving the unwatermarked product.
The currency I charge in is NZD.III. PRODUCT PROCESS
Watermarked work-in-progress art will be provided at the commissioner’s request throughout the commission process.
Unwatermarked work-in-progress art may be provided to the commissioner at an extra fee.
Watermarked work-in-progress art may also be given if I, the artist, require additional feedback and information about a commission.Commissions may take longer than expected due to a variety of issues. These may include, but are not limited to: Physical and mental health; occupation, schooling, and other personal issues; and complexity or difficulty of thecommission.You will be immediately notified of any changes to the commission schedule.IV. COPYRIGHT / USAGE POLICY
I, the artist, remain to hold all rights to commissioned art, not the commissioner.Even after a finished transaction, I am allowed to use the commissioned art to promote myself, my brand and my art on whatever platform I desireYou, as a commissioner, are allowed to:
a) Use the copyrighted artwork for personal use only unless agreed otherwise between commissioner and artist
b) Print or Display the art with proper credit given where due (online)
c) Claim the rights to the characters drawn in a commission (however, not the art itself.)
d) Use the art to promote themselves personally with proper credit given to the artist.If copyright infringement occurs, all rights given to you as a commissioner to the commissioned art will be revoked.The following is considered Copyright infringement:
a) Reproducing, Redistributing or using the copyrighted commercially (for monetary gain, in any way)
b) Taking or Failing to provide credit for the copyrighted art.
c) Removing any part of the artwork, including signatures, without my, the artist’s, consent.Purchasing commercial rights to copyrighted artwork will always be 300% of the original base price.Purchasing commercial rights to the copyrighted art will allow the commissioner to; Create merchandise or products--including, but not limited to, books, covers, and clothing--with the commissioned art; Change the craft to your liking; Promote your brand with the art.Credit to me, the artist, is still required when using the commissioned art, even when the piece has been altered.I do not consent to any of my art to be used in NFT projects.V. CANCELATION/REFUND POLICY
I, the artist, have the right to refuse service, cancel and refund the money for your commission at any point in time during the commission process.
You, as the commissioner, have no right to demand a refund after payment on a commission has been made.e
However, if no deposit or money has been sent, you can cancel a commission.Filing a chargeback against me will result in the termination of commission rights to purchased art, and I have the right to resell copyrighted art to a new buyer.
You will be barred from my services for as long as I see fit
I have all rights to money given to me during the commission process, and I have every right to file a complaint.
